Some of Stellar’s benefits are offered at no cost, while others are shared by Stellar and the employee. Still others are incurred solely by the employee at a discounted or group rate. Service Awards
Stellar recognizes that when someone dedicates time and effort to our cause, applause is called for. This is why we have a long history of celebrating our employees’ milestones. Stellar provides quarterly events honoring employees who have reached milestone anniversaries with Stellar. During these events, employees are presented with a token of our appreciation
Gym Membership Subsidies
To support your efforts to stay healthy, Stellar offers a gym membership subsidy at participating gyms. All we ask is for your commitment to work out a minimum of twice a week. Discounted rates are also available for your family members
Gift Matching Program
Stellar has established a matching gift program through the Stellar Foundation. Employees who wish to contribute to the Stellar Foundation will have their donations matched at 100 percent, and they can direct their contributions, ranging from $50 to an annual maximum of $1,000, to specific 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organizations. Stellar will provide a corporate match of up to $50,000 each year

401(k) Retirement Plan
At Stellar, we offer all of our employees who are at least 18 years of age the opportunity to participate in our 401(k) Retirement Plan. As an employee, you may contribute from 0 to 100% of your eligible compensation, up to the IRS maximum. You can begin participating in this plan as soon as your first day of employment
Group Term Life Insurance
To provide you and your survivors with financial protection in the event of your death, Stellar provides you with a $25,000 life insurance benefit at no cost to you. In addition to the Group Term Life Insurance, you can choose to purchase Voluntary Life Insurance and Dependent Life Insurance at a discounted rate
Voluntary Life Insurance
Stellar also provides you with the opportunity to purchase additional voluntary life insurance for yourself and your dependents at a discounted rate. As an employee, you can elect up to the guaranteed amount of $100,000 for yourself and $15,000 for your spouse without a medical questionnaire. If you decide to elect an amount higher than the guaranteed amount, you will be required to fill out a medical questionnaire
Long-Term Disability (LTD)
Long-Term Disability is also provided to you at no cost. Long-Term Disability provides you with continued income if you are disabled for longer than six months. This benefit will pay 60% of your taxable monthly pre-disability earnings, up to the age of 65
Short-term Disability (STD)
Short-term disabilities are more common than long-term disabilities, which is why Stellar offers you the opportunity to purchase a Short-term Disability plan at a discounted rate. The Short-term Disability plan will pay you 60% of your taxable monthly pre-disability earnings for up to 26 weeks
Medical Care
To help protect you and your family against extraordinary medical expenses, Stellar offers you the choice of three BlueCross BlueShield PPO Plans. We give you the flexibility to choose the plan that best fits your healthcare needs and budget. All three plans also include prescription drug coverage, a $100 vision allowance and a $200 smoking cessation allowance. In order to alleviate some of the cost to you, the costs of these plans are shared by Stellar
Dental Care
Dental care is also offered by Stellar though BlueCross BlueShield. Dental care is meant to provide you and your family with coverage for preventive dental services and protection against other dental expenses. The plan pays all or a portion of eligible expenses for a wide range of services and gives you the option of going to the dentist of your choice. Stellar also shares the cost of this plan with you
Vision Care
To help you pay expenses associated with eye care, Stellar offers a vision-care plan through CompBenefits. The vision care plan provides coverage for exams, lenses, frames and contact lenses through participating in-network providers. Since Stellar offers a $100 vision allowance when you participate in the medical care plans, the cost of this benefit is not shared by Stellar
Maternity Care
Maternity care is a program offered to all eligible expectant mothers covered under our medical plans. This program assists you in making healthier lifestyle choices and helps lower the risks of pregnancy related complications. As part of the program, employees have access to a dedicated care manager who is a registered nurse with experience in obstetrics, a welcome gift box with information, coupons and special offers, as well as educational materials to help you make healthier lifestyle choices. This program is offered at no cost to you
Flexible Spending Account
To provide you with a tax effective means of paying for you or your covered family members’ qualified medical and/or dependent care expenses, Stellar offers you the opportunity to enroll in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA). An FSA enables you to set aside funds from each paycheck in a special account prior to deductions for taxes
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
An Employee Assistance Program is offered to all Stellar employees at no cost. The EAP program is very effective in helping employees resolve personal, wellness and professional concerns. It provides you and your immediate family members with confidential, professional telephone counseling 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The EAP program also provides you and your immediate family members with 10 face-to-face counseling sessions per issue, per year
Paid Time Off
Stellar provides you with paid time off (PTO) from work for rest and relaxation, to attend to personal or family matters, and/or to recover from illness or injury. Eligible employees are granted fifteen (15) days (120 hours) of PTO each year. Upon completion of five (5) years of continuous service, PTO increases to twenty (20) days (160 hours). All regular employees become eligible to use their available PTO upon successful completion of six (6) months of service. The month in which the six (6) months continuous service is completed will determine the amount of PTO available for the remainder of the calendar year, thereafter, every January 1 the full (15) days (120 hours) will be granted

To recognize national holidays, Stellar provides eight paid holidays each year
Bereavement
Stellar provides you with time to make arrangements, attend services and grieve if an immediate family member passes away. Stellar grants up to three days of bereavement leave per year
