Safety Training Software

To help our clients meet the demands of safety training and testing a large workforce, Stellar offers many types of safety training that meet corporate safety programs for construction, fabrication, operation and procedures, maintenance and emergency conditions and are designed to comply with OSHA, the EPA, FDA and USDA. We have developed software and online programs for employee training and testing, including detailed training for the following areas:

OSHA - General Conditions, 10 hour and 30 hour
PSM, RMP, SimPro
Hazardous materials, communication
Employee emergency plan

While on-site training is assumed to be more effective, typical fees for bringing in a trainer or the lost productivity and expenses for a traveling employee can be costly. We have solved these issues by establishing a plant-specific, online Training Tutor. The testing feature can be set up to record grades and specified pass/fail levels, which is required of a PSM program. The safety training program is customized to a facility and may consist of the following areas:

Hazard communication
Specific chemical safety (i.e., ammonia, chlorine)
Process Safety Management
Control of hazardous energy (lockout / tag-out)
Permit-required confined spaces
Contractor training
Plant orientation
Visitor Orientation

After logging into the system, training reminders are part of the task management section and will appear in the user's daily list of activities to perform. Depending on the program, the Training Tutor provides testing to ensure the employee has comprehended the training documentation, thus complying with the safety program and reducing the company's liability.

SimPro™ is the latest safety-training program launched by SIS. SimPro offers an innovative and safe way to train employees in a simulated environment. Supervisors can immediately gauge an operator's understanding of complex procedures and reduce errors through additional SimPro training.
