Stellar delivered this 412,000-square-foot greenfield meat snack facility in Perry, Georgia, ahead of schedule and under budget. Built under a Design-Build / GMP contract, the project included full-service support from preconstruction and architectural design to construction and process installation. Substantial completion was achieved on July 1, 2025 — two weeks early — with all contract milestones met or exceeded.
The facility features raw receiving areas, cook ovens, packaging zones, utility rooms, employee welfare spaces, and office areas. Sellable product was achieved by June 23, 2025, following early wet commissioning of the process systems in May. Nearly every Stellar division contributed to the success of this project, including Thermal, Refrigeration, Mechanical, Electrical, and Process Design. Stellar Mechanical also installed utilities for the facility’s wastewater treatment plant. Project Birdcage stands as a model of teamwork, integrated services, and execution excellence, strengthening the client’s production capacity while supporting job growth in the Perry community.
