Schofield Barracks Pet Paradise

Stellar was contracted to design and build a new Pet Care and Kennel Facility located on a greenfield site along Higgins Road, just outside of Schofield Barracks in Hawaii. This project supports the needs of military families by providing a modern, purpose-built facility for the care of their pets. The single-story structure features durable concrete masonry unit (CMU) construction with wood trusses and asphalt shingle roofing, ensuring long-term resilience and functionality in the island climate. Site development includes an asphalt parking lot, concrete sidewalks, and a secure, fenced-in outdoor area designed for walking and exercising dogs. Inside, the facility accommodates 82 dog kennels and 10 cat kennels, providing ample capacity for boarding. A dedicated grooming area enhances the facility's ability to deliver comprehensive pet care services. This design-build project reflects Stellar’s commitment to delivering high-quality, mission-supporting infrastructure for U.S. military installations.
