Projects
Stellar completed a fast-tracked, five-month renovation and expansion of the University of North Florida’s athletic locker room facilities, transforming outdated spaces into modern, high-performance environments for three collegiate teams. The project began with a full interior demolition of the existing areas, followed by the construction of new, state-of-the-art locker rooms for men’s basketball, women’s basketball, and volleyball, each featuring customized layouts, branded finishes, lounge areas with TVs and premium seating, training and hydration stations, and upgraded restroom and shower facilities. Additional enhancements included a new media room with a 105-inch interactive touchscreen, specialty lighting for the “hype tunnel,” and advanced technology systems to elevate game-day atmosphere and team experience.
Executing this work within an active campus required exceptional coordination among Stellar, PQH Group, university stakeholders, and specialty contractors. Through consistent communication, detailed planning, and tight scheduling, the team delivered three unique environments concurrently while maintaining safety and minimizing disruption to ongoing athletic operations. The result is a cohesive, high-performance facility that supports training, collaboration, recovery, and team culture, meeting the university’s functional needs and aesthetic vision while staying on schedule.
