Stellar Donates $7,500 to Food Brings Hope to Help Feed Hungry Children, Families

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (April 12, 2016) – Stellar, a fully integrated firm focused on design, engineering, construction and mechanical services worldwide, donated $5,000 to nonprofit, Food Brings Hope, for the purchase of at least 10 new freezers at Campbell Middle School. During the check presentation ceremony at the school on Tuesday, Stellar surprised Food Brings Hope with an additional donation of $2,500 for bags filled with food items. 

Food Brings Hope is a nonprofit organization in Volusia County dedicated to providing collaborative solutions for families with children who experience hunger due to homelessness, poverty or unfamiliarity with community resources. 

Food Brings Hope was founded by the Hosseini family, the owners of ICI Homes. Stellar designed and built the ICI Homes headquarters in Daytona Beach in 2005.

Food Brings Hope acknowledges that one out of 10 Florida households struggle with hunger or food insecurity. Stellar’s donation to the organization will contribute to the organization’s local charity efforts to reduce the effects of hunger in the Volusia County community.
